Default Whats wrong with my honda civic?

I added a new walbro fuel pump to my 92 honda civic HB and a new Fuel pressure regulator, because I have a turbo on it now. Before i added the pump and regulator the car was fine BUT the turbo was giving 2much air so it slow the car down, and now when i turn the car on and press the gas it just goes very slow and shuts down on me. I asked a friend and he told me i have to Re time the timing belt bc the is more gas going to the engine, now I'm like why would i have to re time it when it was fine and i didn't play with the timing belt, but idk about vars much. can any1 tell me what is wrong to my car or close to what is wrong please ; ;! Ty all for the replyThe car was not fine before i install the parts and I know what i did thats why i did it, and i have done work on my car before and t works fine and my friend was the 1 that helped me.Now, the problem was the TURBO is giving to much air to the engine and the engine DIDNT have the fuel to not slow down. now that i put the new parts 2much fuel going to the engine so i need to make sure the right amount of goes goes in and idk if i really need to time the timing belt again.Oh and the Fuel pressure regulator and the Walbro pump ARE for when you put a turbo on a engine, after you install a turbo on your car, the engine needs more gas so the wabro is the best pump for that. and the regulator is so you can give or put less gas on the engine.

do not touch your timing belt!! that's not the problem. The problem is that you have admitted to not knowing about cars much but you decided to replace your fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator because the turbo was giving it too much air. If the car ran fine before then the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator were probably fine. You need to take the car to a qualified technician to correctly diagnose the problem. And do not listen to your friend anymore!

What injectors are you running? who did the ECU tuning? can you datalog? Do you have a wideband O2? How do you know the engine was lean before and rich after? If the car is getting too much boost you could have dialed it back. You should take your car to a speed shop with experience tuning Hondas. They will take care of you.
