Default Honda K series vs B series?

Which is better, which do you like more? Which is easier to put in a Del Sol?

K-series has more potential to make HP and torque. Due to advanced vtec, cams, head design. But requires, quite bit more work to swap into delsol. Mount kit, custom harness, fuel lines, reworked exhaust are some of the little things.

Generally the k series engines make more power, but require substantial mods to make it fit in anything pre 2000. I personally like the b series since that is what I'm driving now (civic si). They have substantially more aftermarket support. The b series would be easier to put in del sol since the b series was an option for that car.

i personally prefere the b-series, but then i prefer older cars to new ones. the b-series are extremely good engines , with the b16b (out of ek9 type-r) producing 185bhp, which makes it one of the worlds most powerful production normally aspirated 1.6! the k-series are better though on paper, they are more advanced, have better parts/design and a more advanced i-vtec. a b-series like the B16A2, or even the B18C1 would be much easier to put in a del sol. the crx del dol si-r came with the B16A2 out of the factory so would have no trouble going in. putting in a k-series, such as the K20A would require more engine mount work, and modification.

i had a b motor and was it fun. its also reliable. the k motor is pretty nice and all, but i think you'll turn the other way when you see the price tag. unless price doesn't matter.
