Good idea? For what specific purpose? Economy, performance, reliability? Unless you've blown the engine, and is a cheap alternative. Otherwise, engine conversions are costly and require labour, stick with the engine you have if you have no good prupose. Common sense & logical thinking.

its a very practical swap that people do to the accords that came with a f series engine...it uses the same mounts and axles...the accords tranny will fit on the h22 block with out a problem..but you might prefer a h2b kit which lets you use a b series tranny for a shorter gear ratio....no hammering or pounding of any kind like you would for a civic....and best of all...you gain alot of hp and torque over you old motor...

Yes, that is a great swap idea
An H22A would be an easy swap and not too expensive. I reccomend the H2B (H22a engine to B-series transmission) swap kit to use a B-series transmission, preferably an S80 B18C LSD 5M transmission for better performance, and to save a few pounds.
