The vehicle has had the Half shafts, driver/Passenger side, new tires, and tires shed balancing lead when at highway speeds (over 65 mph) several garages say it is "bent rims" which seem odd as the rear are ok. any ideas? really don't want to spend 1000 bucks on new rims

you could have hit one hell of a pot hell and bent a rim, but how are your tie rods? those can put your car out of alignment and cause some vibration, ive had that issue in cars before where my front end wasnt aligned and i had alot of vibration in the front end, if you hit pot holes or bumps the wrong way you can bend a tie rod and that upsets the alignment. however they could be right if more then one place is telling you that, try taking it to an actual HONDA dealership and see what they say

Change the rims from front to rear, does your butt now wiggle? If you are driving down the road and touch the breaks, and your steering wheel bounces back and forth, replace your rotors, too easy, and it costs less then 100 or so if you do it yourself. Rims are possible to be bent, but if they were bent, how did they balance the tires and not tell you of the problem.
