I just recently helped my girlfriend choose a new car, we looked at a bunch of cars in the same class. The Fit was the second place winner, we ended up going with the Toyota Yaris it just felt like more of a car in every way. We both love the car.I would look at both the Yaris and the Fit and see which you like most, both are great cars. Good luck.PS: We don't drive the car like a race car so I don't know if one handles or goes faster than the other.........................

Its a nice little car. If your only option is a subcompact, the fit is your best bet. Its faster and handles better than anything else in the entry level segment. Also, if there is anything Honda does right, it is building little cars that last forever.

I love my 07 fit sport mt 33-43 mpg cheap insurance, but - i have a feeling it will be like the 80's subarus - the engine/ trans/ drive will out last the rest of the car ( but still get 200 k miles out of it ) so overall i highly recomend my year

family of 4 - we bought a fit sport with manual transmission earlier this summer and love it. 33 city/42 highway. We save enough in gas to afford the payment each month.
I'm most impressed with how much camping gear I can get into this thing. 2 tents, 4 sleeping bed/mats, 4 sleeping bags, coolers, 2 large bins of random stuff, kids toys, etc. and we still have room for people. My brother went on and on about the stereo, so I guess that's good. In my previous life, I had a 92 civic hatchback. That car was awesome. The fit reminds me a lot of the things I liked about the old civics. Cheap, efficient, quick/sporty feel, reliable, sturdy, etc. The only complaint I have is that the key is HUGE. What's up with the gigantic key? I would like to see Honda use one of those switchblade keys like VW or something. I feel like I need to start carrying a man purse for my keys. If a smaller key is available, someone please let me know. I'd pay good money to have my pockets back. I drove a couple other cars and liked the fit the best. The yaris seemed very small inside and didn't have the same solid honda/handling feel. The chevy and versa were cheaper, but didn't seem as well made in many areas. The focus didn't seem to have enough cargo room and we've had bad luck with fords in the past. |
