both cars are made by Honda which offer a very respectable high price resale value, both also offer, styling, good quality, reliability and good gas mileage but if I have to pick I will go with the Accord, is very big and roomier and has a lot of power for 3.5 271HP V6 but if you decided to go on a 4Cylinder you won't be disappointed cause THE 4 cylinder version, Delivers 190HP which is 7HP less than the CIVIC Si but the styling is way better than the Civic, but if your looking for something lighter good with the Civic but but the Accord has a better fuel economy than the Civic so I will go with the Accord Coupe since there isn't a lot on the street cause you will be amaze by how many people will give you attention or stare at you when you drive by them. so Accord for me. but its your choice and your Money, Civic cost less than the Accord. Good luck.

These are both very reliable cars with great gas mileage. The major difference is if you want a family size car, or a standard car just to get around in. If you just want something to get around in, I would suggest the honda civic. The honda civics have less horsepower, meaning the car will be kinda peppy, but won't have the power for quick speed ups. If you want a larger, stronger car, go with the honda accord v6. Do not get the 4cyl honda accord, as it is underpowered, you won't be happy with it. The v6 honda accord is one of the best selling family cars, and is a very reliable, long lasting car. I would say the better of the two is the honda accord v6, but if you just need a car for work and just to drive around in, the honda civic would be okay.

i'd personally get an Accord coupe. 4-cyl with a 5-speed manual. if you can't drive stick, auto works great too. both are good cars and it totally depends on what you're going to use your car for. if you want just a gas sipping car to get you from point a to point b, the civic would be a better choice. but if you want something bigger with a bit more power, the accord coupe (V6 if you have a leadfoot like me
). both cars are great cars, and either will last you forever. the accord's 4-cyl has 190hp while the civic has 140hp. so for speed, pretty much get the accord unless if you're going to get a civic Si (197hp)
