98 hatchback computer wont communicate for smog? but does on hand scanner...
i took my new ride to get smogged today and when they hooked it up to the machine at the obd connection it would not communicate. so they hooked up the hand held reader and it powered it up. any ideas why ? it has had an engine swap and the brains says from a 97 civic vtec my engine is a d15b and the trans is a k4f / p4a any info is appreciated.. thanks
