2002 CRV Tranny problems
My '02 CRV has had a squeaking noise coming from under hood. Originally diagnosed as a water pump issue. $650.00 later it still is happening. Dealership offered to put used tranny in for $2600 installed less the $650 we already have paid. 90 day warranty only. Rebuilt costs $1100.00 more but has 3 year 36k warr.
Question: Rebuilt is coming from a company named Howard?? Anyone heard of or had good luck with rebuilts for Honda's. Are costs being quoted reasonable? Thanks, Shrink.
