Default Are Honda CR-V's (2000-2005 models) comfortable for a guy the height of 6'5"?

I can't seem to find any local dealers with CR-V's in stock to test drive so I thought I'd ask here. Cars are out of the question for me as even the biggest cars such as the Ford Crown Victoria kill my back (fellow tall folks understand what I mean) and little trucks still don't offer the gas mileage I'm looking for. Anyway, I test drove a 2006 Toyota Rav4 and it was unbelievably cramped so I'd thought I'd hunt out other 4 cylinder SUV's. Any advice on the CR-V would be greatly appreciated.

My friend had the same problem and ended up purchasing a Chevrolet Suburban. This was the only vehicle that would fit him comfortably.

I recently bought a 07' Honda CR-V and it has more space than the car I use to have 99' Nissan sentra. My brother is 6' 3" and he fits in the drivers seat ok. The gas mileage is pretty good I don't have to fill up that much as before. I went to Honda cars of Katy and the sales people are nice and helpful they also let you test drive the cars. Maybe you should test drive a Honda Pilot and compare it with the CR-V.

I have a 2005 Honda CR-V. It´s a great car, but I´m 6 feet tall and in the front passenger seat I can´t straighten my legs out fully. On long journies it feels a little cramped.

I own a 04 Custom CRV and I'm 6"1 and its fits me comfortable, a 8 out of 10, but hey my younger brother is 6"6 Feet and he fits in very nicely, the only problems is the passenger leg room is short and not comfortable and the rear leg room is ok, a 7/10 but than to the 60/40slip rear seat and it comes in handy, so IF YOUR GOING TO BE THE DRIVER the CRV will not disappoint you, but if you want a big 4 Cylinder SUV, you can try the Toyota Highlander, it has a bigger and longer room than both the CRV or the RAV4 and it has 21HP more and it get to 18 mileage for gallon in city and 24 on highway, I will consider and recommend the Highlander OVER THE CRV even though I'm a CRV Owner, lol. also I will recommend the Toyta Venza too, better looking and style and better feel economy than all, try and look for the New Nissan Rogue, this are the three 4 cylinder I will recommend, test drive them and see which one suite you better, good luck.
