I am trying to remove my alternator from my 93 Honda Civic. I've removed the pivot bolt at the top and the adjusting bolt nut at the bottom but the alternator won't release the tension on the alternator belt. I've tried a prybar to see if it would budge, I've tried to punch out the adjusting bolt with a hammer, and I've tried rotating the alternator from underneath with a wrench wedged with a floor jack (all that did was lift the engine). I've also wasted a half bottle of penetrating spray.
