Hi all, I'm looking into getting the above car. I live by myself (so I dont need a huge car) but I'm an outdoorsy person (drive to trails alot, camp etc) and I live in New York State so need a car that can withstand winter driving. Also, once every few months I generally take a long car ride (a days drive) to see family. I'm being offered $1000 down with about $350 mo payments to buy. The car has 30,000 miles on it.Thanks!

it's not a bad car. fairly versatile. with 5 years (60 months) of payments, that's $22000. I'd hit them with $1000 down and $300 a month for 60 months. that puts the car around $15000 (which is about the right price) plus interest charges. the tires are small, so snow tires or chains would be cheap. The main advantage is that all the seats fold flat, and it comes with window covers so you can sleep in it. you can't tow much, the engine is kinda weak. and gas mileage is around 20mpg, kinda low for a 4-banger. it's not very aerodynamic, and it's heavy from the 4wd drivetrain. all in all, considering you need the versatility, it's a good buy at my suggested price. and it's honda, so it will be reliable.
