I drive a CR-V now and the headlights do not turn off whenever the key is taken out. I tend to forget to turn them off so there have been many times when the lights are shining away in the mall parking lot. We are thinking of buying a Fit and I wanted to check if it had this lovely feature.

No the Fit does not have the auto headlight feature. There is however a feature that chimes a distintive bell whenever the lights are left on and the door is opened coupled with the key being removed from the ignition. This is useful if you forget to turn off the lights after you have parked and turned off the car. You can have this bell amplified if you have trouble hearing it. It is distinctly different from the chime that sounds when the key is left in the ignition.
