I used Fix-a-flat on a flat tire and now my low tire pressure sign stays on forever (not TPMS sign). I took it to a dealer and he says the sensor is not working because of Fix-a-flat and it would cost me $225 to replace the sensor and to clean out the tire.
Has anyone been in this situation before and what have they paid to fix a sensor on one tire? I am really confused and frustrated to spend so much for using Fix-a-flat which says it is TPMS safe. I am still covered under warranty on my 08 Honda Accord Ex-L and they want me to pay for the sensor because of me using Fix-a-flat. |
