It's weird because when I accelerate my tacometer starts going but my speedometer doesn't start going until about five seconds later. It is apparent there is a delay because when I am going 30mph, it feels a lot slower and I am not going with the flow of traffic. How much does it cost to fix...or should I just deal with it since it's not a HUGE deal?

The problem is your VSS (vehicle speed sensor) it needs to be replaced, the part new from honda is around $150, you can always try ebay for a cheaper price. Replacing it is very easy, it is two mounting bolts and a electrical connector. This is a common problem with 5th and 6th generation accords. This link will help you better understand http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1i/bl845i.htm
