A h22 swap will run around $2000and NO do not use a h22 harness, use the accord's harnessonly newbies will tell you to swap out harness, because they do not know what they're talking aboutHow do I know this, because I have a H22 accordand yes you can to an auto to manual swap

The 65k mile thing in Japan is not true, mostly all JDM engines has between 80-100k miles on them. As for the swap, the most reputable place to buy them online is hmotorsonline.com You want to get a obd1 h22a, use the accord harness and add to it to run the h22a, use the p13 ecu. Since you have a 91 your TCU and ECU are two separate units, you wont need the TCU if you convert it to 5 speed, make sure you take it out otherwise your going to throw a code becuase the tranny is going to be looking for the A/T lock up soleniod and its not gonna be there. Your best bet for the 5 speed parts are finding a 5speed 90-97 accord in a junk yard and pulling all the parts off of that. I have done two of these swaps, the engine swap is simple, the 5 speed conversion gets alittle more complicated. There are a few articles online that will help with pictures, and explanations. One more note, before you swap in the h22 make sure you do the manual tensioner conversion for the timing belt, the auto tensioner has been known to fail, and it that fails, your engine is not going to be happy
