Some guys said he wants to tune my car for me.What are the benefits of getting my car tuned?Oh the car is a 1992 Honda prelude wih a 2.2 single cam the only upgrades i have are exhaust, cold air intake and a 4-2-1 header.thanksYeah the guy thats tuning the car has his own shop downtown and a dyno.

You will not gain much of anything by getting it tuned right now. Wait until you get a different cam, pistons, turbo etc... As of right now, you might gain 5 horsepower by getting it tuned, but do not let anybody tune your car that does not have a dyno or a shop.

First off what is he going to tune? do you have a piggyback ECU, or a AEM EMS? If he says something like a Hondata or ECU flash, RUN. They are cheap and if anything ever goes wrong you CANNOT read error codes from your ECU.

yea there will only be minimal horsepower gains for you. the guy that said hondata is bad is dumb. Look for a more aggressive cam profile, and worst come to worst you can run an apexi neo.
