Default 1998 Honda accord: Headers, Intake and Exhaust 5 part question?

I just got a 1998 Honda Accord Ex and I wanted to do something to increase the car's performance. It has a 4 cylinder Manual V tech engine. Between headers, intake and exhaust systems which has the best cost to performance increase ratio? If I were to get all three how much more horsepower / how noticeable would the difference be?Are all the cheaper brands on eBay something I must stay away from? Can I get these systems without the car making an obnoxious noise? How would these systems effect gas mileage or costs of other maintenance in the future?I'm not trying to race, I just want some more pickup.

I had a 98 accord.... great car. Anyways, the best way to increase HP is to start swapping internal parts or go with a turbo. Cost being a factor, I'd go with all three (headers, exhaust and intake) it's not cheap, but the cheapest option. Stay away from knck offs.... they'll break and destroy something else on the car.... invest in good parts and be worry free. It will be a lot noisier but that's a part of "releasing the power" in the engine.... good luck and have fun.

ok , intake , quicker throttle responce , slightly better gas mileage , headers and exhaust will decrease your back pressure, and provide a bit better gas mileage as well as more power i have bought alot of things from ebay , with out problems , i have a 93 sohc del sol , turbo, if your looking for better gas mileage and a bit more proformance then the three things will provide 8-10 hp with a noticible throttle responceas far as noise is concerned , get a good exhaust , greddy provides a great sound , do not get a fart can muffler , id like to slap those people , hope i answer what you asked
