To answer your question, there is a number of things that can be done to increase your car's performance. You have a D17A engine and there are plenty of aftermarket performence options and bolt on parts for the D-series engines. You could get a header, cold air or ram air intake, CR-V throttle body, performance valvetrain kit, performance ignition system, performance fuel system, chipped ECU, and even a bolt on turbo. It all depends on how much you have to spend and how much power you want.
