yes of course you can fit an 18" in the Element, I once put a 24" on my CRV, it look super awesome bud I lost the handle so I went down to 22" and still not good enough so I went to 19" and now I more comfortable then those more big rims but yes your Element can fit 18 easily and you will still have your factory handling but also you can fit 19" to 20", here is a website that can help you determine the size of the rims that your car and take.
