my starter died on my 98' Civic, and I need to replace it. I'm assuming it's just like all the other starters I've replaced. Held on by 2 bolts. Just unhook the negative terminal starter and swap it out. My main question is where is it located on this year Civic?Oops. I know where the starter is. I mean where are the bolts that are holding it on. I can't seem to find them.

if you look at the starter from the back of the starter where the positive cable is connected then there is one bolt up in front of the starter solenoid to the right of center and one bolt below the starter motor to the left of center. they aren't the easiest to see because the solenoid is in front of one bolt and the motor armature is above the other. hope that helps
