Who do some ppl think honda is better than bmw? What do they think makes it better?

They are the cheap people that won't spend 40k+ for a BMW, but will mod the **** out of the honda and still get whooped by a BMW.

because there cheaper, parts are easier to fix and more affordable...

Because you can go 200K miles in a honda without needing a rebuild.

This is just my opinion, but no one auto manufacturer is better than any other; they all appeal to different people for different reasons. Regarding your question, I believe why some people hold Honda in higher regard than BMW is because an average Honda is less expensive to buy, own, and 'tune'. Acura has received accolades recently for being one of the most refined upscale car manufacturers. Honda ranks in the top 5 for quality overall. However, BMW is right behind them and in fact BMW beats Acura in recent quality surveys (http://www.jdpower.com/autos/ratings...ngs-by-brand). If you were to look at performance and the less-quantitative fun-to-drive quotient, the average BMW beats the average Honda hands-down. Don't believe me, go for a test drive and decide for yourself. BMW's engineering is truly top-notch and they have a longer racing heritage than Honda. The greatest distinction in my opinion is that BMW targets a specific demographic of buyers while Honda aims to build cars for the masses, and this compromise is transparent in every aspect of both makes.

because it costs an arm and a leg to mantain and tune a bmw. Honda is just as reliable if not more and can be tuned easier, for thousands of dollars less.

It is much better. First of all Honda's are much cheaper to buy, maintain, and insure. Also, for a couple $1000 you can make a Honda much faster than a BMW. Whereas modding a BMW's engine is very difficult.

because they don't know any better that's why you can never compare a honda to a BMW which is a much better car. when ever you see somebody saying that Honda's are the best is always some kid with a 20 year old CRX with pepboys body kits and tail lights that thinks his 100 horse power honda will have a chance against a BMW even a 325is will destroy any four banger honda even the new ones. Honda owners are the same as people that own Apple computers they live in la la land and don't listen to anything that anybody tells them. but when they blow up the engine on their 15 year old civic they never say anything about it. how many little civics have you seen with the blue smoke coming out that back or the black smoke?. they beat these cars senseless and think they will never break because they are Honda's LOL if you beat on any car it will break. Just for the record Im not a fan of german cars. but you have to give respect were its due germans do make nice looking and sounding cars. Its something that Japanese imports today don't have is good looks they look like toy's.
