you'll need shocks, struts, and camber kits to do it right. If you don't replace the struts and shocks, the stiffer springs will kill your old dampners and your car will bounce like mad, also it will be very unsafe. The camber kit is so you can adjust the tilt of the wheel, so you wont blow through tires, also it will be safer.

Get a set of shocks and coilover springs. You will need a camber correction bolt/plate kit if you go lower than 1" or you could get adjustable lower control arms, but they are a little more expensive. It would be good to get a new set of suspension bushings and replace any worn parts.
