I have a 97 accord with a V6 that surges after it reaches operation temp.I thought it might be bad gas but that wasn't it. At one point i was hard to start when it was cold,like in the morning but not in the afternoon,that hasn't happened lately. My tech also jumps after it reaches O/T but i don't think that are related, i could be wrong. Could anyone help out please.
A little about the car,it has 75k miles.Ive replaced the cap,rotor,wires and plugs with honda parts last yr. I have just replaced the fuel filter on the firewall.We have never had any problems out of the car until now. I also haven't replaced the timing belt yet and need to do this also. |

You know,I put it on the scanner(snap-on Solos) at the shop.I looked at the RPM's when the tech was flicking and i thought that,that might be a sensor seeing as how it idled right even tho the needle was going crazy but didn't know where to look for it. I didn't think of the TPS what would be the parameters on that?
I read in other threads that a clogged EGR might be the serging but i haven't looked into it yet. I just don't know where to look for thing on a honda. ![]() |
