...key its stuck? i thought it was the key but it works in the other door and starts the car just fine i also tried other keys and it is the drivers door lock not not the key im pretty sure what can i do to fix it and what do think it will cost and what is the problem with it locking is not a problem so far just un locking

squirt white lithium grease in key hole and work it in with key

there are key and lock inpectors that u can find in locksmith shops. The figure out ur prob. and tell u what the cost is. 97 acord still is not electronic so it should be pretty cheap to fix. I had the same problem with my mercedes but the guy gave me some oil and in helped. But to replace for a high class car like mercedes it was around 250$ the guy said. Honda should b cheaper...good luck :-)

very common issue, the key gets worn along with lock tumblers try a different key and spray it with wd-40 honda tech 12yrs.
