Default Honda civic odometer problem.?

About a month ago I bought a 1994 Honda civic, when I got it, the odometer displayed 114,967. During the month that I have owned it the odometer has reached 115,250. Today I was driving it and noticed that the 1 to the far left was slowly rolling up into a 2. So now it reads 215,254. Does this mean the odometer is broken, or did the previous owner tamper with the unit? Please help.

theres no way to tell until an ASEcertified technician takes out the gauge VIN check and last recorded mileage, tell them exactly what happened.

it was probably tampered with the 2 should not show at all, and when you think about it it is very low mileage for a 94 !! so 214k would be more likely

Check with the last couple of title forms. They should have the mileage. By the way I think that mileage is Exempt after 10 years.
