I'm shopping for a new car and I love the Honda Civic Si (after test driving it). I'm just wondering if for the money, could I get better? I have posted other questions in which I stated that I only have $22,000 to spend on a NEW car.

I was one of the guys who recommended the CobaltSS Turbo. But after seeing a mostly new one with humidty on a headlight the only thing that came into my mind was: That is a new car and have that, I wonder if in a couple of years it will fall apart.Get the SI I can assure is pretty reliable, is slow compared to the Cobalt, Caliber SRT4 and MSP3 but in quality Honda is better.I own one.

the Si is a pretty solid bet and has that Honda reliability. if you don't mind having a used car, you can also spring for a Acura RSX Type-S. very similar cars. the only thing that the Type-S doesn't have is the Limited Slip Diff. the Type-S also has a stiffer and choppier ride than the Si. in LA, that makes a big difference. but other than that, it's pretty much your own opinion. i personally would take the Si...or if you want, get the basic Accord coupe with a 5-speed
