Default Will the trans from a 1988 civic dx bolt up to the jdm d15b engine?
I have a 1988 honda civic dx hb 5-spd trans, the d15b2 engine it has is shot and i want to replace it with its jdm counterpart d15b, will the trans hook right up?

Yes it will.All D-series transmissions fit all D-series motors.

it would fitttt ..... d series would bolt up right on as long as it is cable it cant be hydro !!! remember that

it will bolt up no problem, but remeber that a 88 civic tranny is a cable trannyany d series tranny will fit any d series engine
