It kind of sounds like a small hole inthe exhaust or something vibrating. Any idea what it could be and if it is serious?

if itr sounds like a hole in exaust,,,maybe its a hole in exaust...if over 80K ever been tuned up...air cleaner..

hard to tell without hearing, but it sounds like perhaps a loose/cracked exhaust gasket, but warming up the car would usually make that noise go away, not start. not too important unless you have to get the car smogged, but you probably want to check it out if it gets louder.if you have an exhaust header(s) (which i doubt), it could be a stress crack, but again i doubt that.
