Hey, I'm considering buying a 2005 Honda Civic Type R, I've been driving a VW Golf for the last year. Was just wondering if the gear stick on the Civic would be hard to get used to, as it comes out of the dashboard, as opposed to the floor.I would test drive one, but there aren't any for sale anywhere near me, Thanks!

Surprisingly, it is very easy. After driving for about 20 minutes, you get used to it! I had a 2000 Civic Si, then I bought the new SI when it was released. I had the same concern, but after driving a few minutes... No problem!
