Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have a couple of questions. I tried doing a search on here before I posted this but I couldn't find anything that was the same problem I'm having. So here it goes.... I just bought a 94 Accord and all of a sudden for no reason all the electrical goes out. The car keeps running no problem but all the gauges go out. The speedo, the tach everything. The radio goes out and the window switches stop working. So sometimes I've been stuck not being able to roll up my windows. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, just as easily as it goes out it will come back up. I have noticed that it will all black out when I put it in reverse sometimes, but even that's hit or miss because there's times I do that and it stays off and other times it all comes back up. Has anyone ever experienced this before or maybe have some insight as to what this might be? Battery, alternator...sensors??? |

Without seeing the vehicle, my first guess would be an ignition switch. When starting the car, watch the dash lights. They should remain on as the key is turned. If they go out it is a sign of a bad switch Good luck
