If the fan is blowing, in the front, you are not getting hot water into the heater core or the flap that opens to allow the heat into the car is not opening. Check your vacuum lines to ensure they are all connected.

there are two things that come immediately to mind.the first is that you have a heater 'hot water' valve in the heater hose that shuts off water to the heater core when the temp cable is pulled to "cold". that valve is located under the hood at the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side. It will be in the black rubber hose that goes into the firewall. You can determine if this is your problem by running the engine with the heater set to "hot" and then open the hood and feel the hose on both sides of the valve. if the hose on one side is hot and the other side isn't then the valve isn't letting the hot water through.if thats the case, there are two possibilities--one is that the cable isn't moving the valve to open it. mark the position of the cable on the valve then go inside the car and turn the control to "Cold". then go and look at the valve. if the cable didn't move then the problem is with the control. if the cable moved then the problem is with the valve.if the problem is with the control not moving the cable it is most likely the knob that you turn for the temperature if you have a dial type knob. those knobs break or crack over time so that you think you're turning the temperature but really the knob is just freewheeling. you can pull the knob off then turn the stem of the heater control to see if that makes a difference. odds are it will.i think the problem is most likely with the temp control knob but it could be the valve if the cable moves.hope that helps
