I have a 96 Honda Civic that I bought with 66,000 miles on it, I have driven it for 7 months and put on about 18,000 miles, now it drives great and I have had no problems other than I need to top off the oil about every 800-900 miles, I need to put in about 1 to 1 1/2 quarts. There are no leaks, I do notice some blue smoke. Now the car sat for almost 2 1/2 years before i bought it, the owner suffered a stroke and after some time the family decided to sell it rather than have it sitting in his garage. I was told when a car sits for this long it could dry out the seals, now I am no mechanic, but I want to know if there is a reasonable fix to my problem. Any answers are much appreciated!
