the car was misfiring to the point that i couldnt drive it and white smoke came out from under the hood. the spark plug wires were loose. The radiator thermostat radiator hose, spark plugs and wires have all been replaced in march

It seems as though you either have an external coolant leak (running from the lines) or you have an internal leak (running through the water jackets up through your head gasket like you said). What you should do to check, is have a pressure test done on the radiator, if it bubbles up through the heads, then you have head gasket problems, (not cheap). If it bubbles up from anywhere else other than a rubber hose, we're talking cooling system damage (ridiculously expensive). Does it have any leaks, or leave any spots on the ground when you park it? Usually you can take a peek, and see where it may be running out from.
