If you bought the car new, it's in the little separate booklet that shows how the stereo works. The dealer parts dept can get you the code, or you can call Honda. The number is in the owners manual. They just need the VIN of the car. Hopefully, they don't need the radio serial number.

Call the dealership they should have the number for you if you read off the VIN number. It should be quick. I have a 07 si coupe and had they had a little card with the number on it. You should not have to read off the radio code. Just call the dealer because you probably wont be able to figure it out on your own.

Okay, this happens to everyone who gets a dead battery in a Honda, Acura, BMW, VW, Audi, and other cars. You must call the dealership that the car is originaly from. They will give you the radio code for free if you are the original owner. If you are not the original owner, they will charge you $50 for the code. And you can call any Honda dealership for the code. You need to have the VIN number with you when you call the dealership. When you type the wrong code many times, tha radio locks up and you must wait a little before you can enter another code.I believe you need to wait 4 hours after the radio locks up before you can type in another code. You will need the radio code for evertime you get a new battery or even if the fuse for the radio blows. So when you get it, save it.

it should be inside your owners manuel if not call the dealership hopefully a honda one and ask the service department.. but they are going to ask u to remove the sterio out of the car and get the serial number off the back. i used to work at a honda dealership in the service department if you take it to them they will charge a arm and a leg so save yourself time and remove the sterio and get the serial off the back and call them they will have it. if worst comes to worst email me with the serial number ill get it for you.. hynita21@yahoo.com i still have friends who work there. good luck

If the radio has the ERROR code disconntect the battery for about a couple of minutes. Then follow the steps bellow. 1. Look in or on the side of glove box for small sticker with numbers, should be 5 digits with numbers no greater then 6.2. Pull out the ashtray and see if the sticker is on the back of there.(older models that have them)3. If you turn off radio and hold the 1 and 6 preset buttons then turn radio on it will give you the serial number. They will ask verifying questions. You may have to pull radio from dash and write down radio serial number and call local dealer with that number and they will be able to get the code for you.4. If you happen to have all the books from the dealer look in the 'HONDA SERVICE HISTORY' book, NOT the owners manual. It should be on the first page in the AUDIO CODE box.You can go to this site https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ but you will have to prove you own the car. Honda knows if the dealer that you bought it from reported it to them.
