How is the ride ? Gas Mileage ? Comfort ? Do you like it ?Yikes ...that should be WHO owns...happy fingers...

I don't own one but stopped and took a drive and spent a long time looking at specs. It handles very nicely, (as you would expect from Honda), but it is a tight cabin and has a bit more road noise than I expected. Back at the dealer I also looked at the Civic Hybrid and here is where I get confused. The Insight is rated at 43MPG highway but the Civic, a much roomier car with a trunk, is rated at 45MPG highway. The Insight has a 1.3 liter engine rated at 93 HP and the Civic has the same size engine rated at 110 HP. Last but not least, there is ony about $1000 list difference between the two vehicles and the Civic is a lot more car for that price difference. Something here "does not compute" and I wish Honda would explain why the Insight does not get closer to 48-50 highway based on the size difference.

I've had a non-nav ex for 1500 miles - The number one thing is that it has slowed my too fast driving down. I'm getting a constant 49mpg going 65 on the hiway.I am having issues with audio file formatting for the USB input but otherwise all is way cool.Re-programming things like the auto door locks and self resetting trip a on a fill up took a bit of time with the manual - but the fact that you can adjust these things to your preferences is also GREAT!PLUS it looks like a hybrid - not a dorky civic.
