94 Honda civic Overheating symptoms?
My car is overheating- no hot air blowing- the lower hose gets hot only when the tem gage goes over the middle close to red and this is when the fan kick in but only for short period of time...when I open the radiator cap the antifreeze starts spilling out... I have replaced so far: -thermo sensor -thermostat (3 of them) : ( -radiator -HEAD-GASKET ![]() -waterpump was replaced 2 years ago shows no sign of disfunction(no leaking or noise) -inspected the hoses by flushing them I have also bled the system for hours not sure if there is something specific I have to do but I think it is overheating due to the excsessive air in the system but not sure how to go about it...since when I turn off the car I can hear the air being sucked in somewhere...please help |
