Default Which is the number 1 spark plug on my 1993 honda Civic. I have trouble starting it could it...

...be the module? The sparks plugs also have oil on them first time I have seen that in three changes since i've had it. Could it be that? Help anyone please. Keep buying different parts for it thinking it will solve my problem.

If you have probs with oil on the spark plugs...you need replace the O ring gaskets for the spark plugs that are under the valve cover,if not starting 1.check for faulty spark plugs 2. pull a plug out place it on the plug wires and check if it sparks..do that to every1 of them...if no spark its the distributor 3. check the firing order .......is it turning over??? turn on the On position and listen to injectors to see if you are getting fuel...lmk if you need the help...email at chubby_alien@yahoo.com

The number 1 spark plug is the one on the far right when you are looking in to the engine bay . [ 4 3 2 1] in that same order. Oil on the spark plugs, probably means you have a bad/leaky seal...valve cover to spark plug tube seal. And like what everyone else will tell you when its having issues starting check for spark and check for fuel before you go off buying parts.

if your having trouble starting it when it sits in sun all day or after a short run then wont start it needs a f/i main relay. for oil around spark plugs change valve cover gasket and tube seals,it comes as a kit from most parts stores i dont think thats your no start problem but fix it anyway. honda tech 11yrs.
