Can I swap an acura vtec engine 3.2 liter and place it into a Honda civic lx?

I dont think so! As far as i know there isnt a Honda civic with a 6 cylinder motor, and if the acura engine is 3.2 is got to be 6 cylinder so you cant fit it in the civic! if it was accord then it might but for civic naah it wont!

Of course you can. There have been a few done. It will definitely be costly and a tight fit but it is possible. There has even been a civic with a corvette LS1 engine named Chevette. Look it up on youtube

Yes you can, but it would be a tremendous waste of time and money. You're better off swapping a K series engine into it.

what about a J motor

A mildly built B18 can perform just as well, and usually better. You can waste the money on doing something other than a D, B, or K swap, but if you are looking for best bang for the buck, B-series will get you there pretty quick. There are several platforms of the B's to choose from--B16's, B17, B18A/B, B18C's, B20, LSVtec, CRVtec...

Do some more research. Your basic misunderstanding proves that you don't have the ability or the knowledge to do a swap...
