I am looking at a Honda civic and it has a b16 in it. The guy wants 1000 bucks for it and I just wanted to know what that motors worth. It is in good condition with like 100xxx on it. Thank you

motor and tranny is still worth more then the price hes asking...its about 1200-1500 depending and maybe even more depending on upgrades...

Well with 100,xxx miles on it then it's worth it but not recommended. You can easily get a better B16A engine with 40-60k miles for around $1200-$1300. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/_W..._osacat=__6030

for one without transmission, motor mounts, or ECU $1200-$1600. but for one including those items its $2000-$3000im getting mine in LA and it includes everything

^^^ your getting ripped off3k is crazy over priced unless install is part of the package.1k isnt to bad of a deal but i would rather spend a bit more and get a lower milage engine.
