Default Civic Automatic transmission problems

Hi,
I have a 97 civic D16Y7, the auto transmission seems to shift gears too fast, it's like going with a manual car and shifting from 2nd to 4th. No power until I shifted manually to Drive 2. Then it goes 'till I catch speed when I'm on drive, it seems like the tranny slips, still not having power. If I don't put drive 2, it won't go on Reverse. Turn the key off, and then on everything is perfect. On the check engine DTC code, I get code 70 Transmission module box. Anybody know if it's the box or the tranny needs to be changed? Thx
