What year and version of the civic is best for adding a turbocharger and other aftermarket parts? I'd like to get a 99' or a 00'.

None!If it was supposed to have a "turbo" Honda would have put one in it!Are you part of some racing team? If this is your primary transportation, don't mess with it, you'll shorten its engine's life! Then you'll be taking the bus!

96-00 civic si 5 speed all day.those are sick with the turbo

^^ a 00 si is diff from a 96 si.the only yoe want is the 00 si with the b16 dohc engine.if your gonna mod it usually better to start out with the better car.or if you want you could get an older civic 92-95 and do an engine swap then turbo.
