if that's going to sway your decision, you shouldn't be buying a car.

Most LX's do nto come with a cupholder, it is located in front of the gearstick but not in the base models. If it does not have them, they are very easy to swap out for a centre console which does have them. And man they are worth having, so handy. You should be able to find one from a wrecker for very little. To fit you remove the rear part of the centre console, (two screws on side at rear, two at front under cap. Then remove the front section of the centre console by undoing the two screws at each side and replace with the cupholder ones.

Yes they have them, but they are horrible and pretty much useless. It's right in front of the shifter. You push the plastic down, and the thing pops open. The only thing they are decent for are soda cans. Any kind of soda or water bottle won't really fit, and forget about a big cup from a fast food place. Most people tend to slide their drinks between the e-brake and the passenger seat, because it works much better than the actual cup holders. Other than that, you could probably buy one of those holders that attaches to your air vents on the dash. Also if you happen to get a car with the optional lower console installed, that replaces the cup holders all together.
