My mom works in Honda and they say they're giving us a really good deal. It's a 2001 Honda Civic EX with 33,000 miles on it. The interior is perfectly clean but the exterior has a few chips, scratches, and tiny dents. We will get it this way for $7,500. They also want to throw in 4 new tires, new front brake pads, and a new battery for an extra $500. Is this a good deal?It is a 2 door, automatic

That price is high. You do not say if the car is a 2 or 4 door, and also fail to say if it is a 5 speed or automatic, so it is harder to give you an exact value. The car has very low mileage, which makes it worth more, but I would say that even when you adjust (add to the value) for the mileage they are not giving you anywhere close to a good deal. In looking at actual dealer to dealer auction results, I would estimate that a good deal on that car would be in the $6000 range, including tires and battery. If you e mail me the specifics on the car, I will research the exact car and give you more information.
