Long story short, right now im driving a 1990 honda accord. Yesterday the something started happening with the engine. It shakes like crazy. When im stopped at a light i can feel my whole body shaking. If you could tell me what this might be, what i could do myself without bringing it to a mechanic, and if i bring it to a mechanic how much you think it will cost? Thanks so much!

Sounds like the motor mounts are busted, should be about 50 bucks for the parts. Its really easy to do, if you dont know how go to autozone.com they have step by step instructions. This seems like the most logical thing it could be. Im not saying I couldnt be wrong, I may be. But assuming it still runs good idk what else it could be.

sounds like you broke an engine mount bolt(s)idn like $5 get ur mechanic to put it in for you,if he charges you get a new one

idk but its not the motor mounts and those are a pain to change you need to take out the motor an sense you have a 90 honda accord you should probably take out the tranny to cause there is no room to jab the motor back ini would have it looked at before changing the mount ps if you do change it change all the mounts and tranny mount
