The SI is going to give you an extra 57 horsepower, which will come at a cost of about 5 MPG. In general, you can expect the SI to be much more responsive and fun to drive. It does not have an option for an automatic transmission.Interior is comparable to the EX, but the SI gets nifty sport seats with embroidered SI logo. Exterior, nice aluminum rims and a spoiler plus a sticker (!?) to tell you what kind of motor you have.

Ok, they may look alike but they are worlds apart. From the ground up the only thing they share is the sheet metal. For starters the engine in the Si is a DOHC model. K20A is whats under the hood. The suspension is set stiffer for a more sporty handling. The rims and tires are Si and cant be bought from the dealer on any other model. The seats and interior have different fabric and bolstering. Even the exhaust note is different. Oh, and the Si only comes in stick shift. That's all i can think of right now. But bottom line is that they are like apples and oranges. It's all about the Si since it came out in '89.
