it depends on what car you are putting it in if its a hatch then i would say h22 cause ive had a hatch with both motors and i liked the H22 but you have to put new mounts axles and all that good stuff but well worth it!!

the h22 is a low compression motor cuz they're meant for turbos so if ur not getting a turbo run the gsr swap

JDM H22 is going to give you about 20 more HP and 40-50 more lb-ft torque, stock for stock. If all you plan on doing is running in a straight line, definitely get the H22.But if you are big on having a nice handling car, then go the GSR (B18C1) swap route.

consider this the h22 engine has at least 190hp and if you get jdm your lookin at 200+hp the gsr i believe it 170hp,but the gsr is about 50lbs lighter so its up to you if your swapping into a hatchback then the pounds wouldnt matter as much as a heavier car but also iif your gonna turbo it then the h22 is also a good choice.of course the b18c(gsr) is a easy swap, even tho the engine-tranny combo can be quite expensive, but the h22 comes cheaper but it will be little more work, cause it would be like puttin a size 11 foot in a size 9 shoe its tight.but like i said it all depends what your gonna do with it.
