the sport light flashing indicates that the automatic transmission control unit has detected a problem with the transmission or inputs and as a result the torque converter clutch is not locking up. In almost 100% of the cases the problem is that the vehicle speed sensor on the transmission isn't sending a signal to the control unit so that the control unit has no idea how fast the car is going. Unless the control unit knows the vehicle speed it won't engage the torque converter clutch because if it were to do so a a low speed it could stall the engine. so the system recognizes that the converter clutch is not engaged when it should be and it blinks the S light.I'm sure you'll find that the vehicle speed sensor isn't working. replace it and your light should go outhope that helps
