Power (bhp@rpm):127 @ 6,600 rpmTorque (ft/lbs@rpm):107 @ 5,500 rpmTo jack it up you can start with a cold air intake, then headers, then exhaust, but after that it gets expensive... Nitrous kit, Turbo, etc. Those expensive options also have a tendency to reduce the life of your engine. Most modifications aimed at drastic HP improvements are best left to a mechanic. Good luck, and have fun!

okay dude, if its a civic EX then it is a D16y8, if its an Si, then its a B16A, U.S has B16A3, difference between them is the D is a SOHC, the B is a DOHC, I may be swapping in a JDM B16 in my ej, but I also am considering a B18C5, which is a TYPE-R engine, they put down nearly 200hp, w/ minor bolt ons easily make 200wheel

OK D16Y8 is 127hp (sohc vtec) stock Civic EX motor.you can maybe do the obvious I/H/E (intake headers exhaust)and just for above the USDM Civic Si (EM1) was the B16A2 not B16A3the B16A3 came in the USDM Del Sol VTEC (1994-1995 as wikipedia states)there is no such thing as the B16Y8 so its obvious that you mean D16Y8.
