Hello, My 2000 Honda Accord se's transmission just started slipping and the check engine light came on and D4 is blinking.I just tried to leave with my kids and the car shifted through 1, 2, and 3 and didnt want to go into d4.I checked the fluid and its a good color and the level is just right. Is the whole tranny gone or maybe its something I can fix that doesnt involve the cost of a new tranny.Im a single mom and I just got this car used with my income tax 2 weeks ago and I hope someone out there maybe can tell me what to do.Thankyou, Bluesgirl21

Honda has extended the warranty on your transmission up to 7 years and 9 months or 109,000 miles whichever comes first. Sorry to see your car is well out of the extended warranty period. They did this because of problems with the transmission. Most likely the transmission will require replacement. Have a qualified technician take a look at it for you. Good luck
