Default Need advice from someone who has done a z6 head swap on a d15b7 engine?

Hello, I'm looking to do the z6 head swap on my engine, the only problem is i don't know what gaskets i need to buy exactly. On ebay i have found the head gasket set for the d15b7, but i don't know if this will work, and seeing as there aren't sets for a d15z6 I'm completely lost as what i need to buy. all responses are greatly appreciated.

Hmmm...I don't know the answer. My best bet is see if you can buy and return. Try ordering from a local store if they don't have any in stock, and ask if they have a return policy.

You need a head gasket for the head you're using, so you need one for the D16Z6. Head gaskets for the '96-'00 D16Y8 also work as well.
